Question About Texture Compression Settings

In Iray mode, is it possible to change the default value of the texture compression settings, and then save the settings so the new default settings always load without having to use a preset? I know I can go into perameter settings and change the default there, but if I close and reopen Daz, it goes back to the same settings as before. I want it to permenently be set to a higher value so I don't have to constantly worry about how bad my textures look in a render due to compression. I have a pretty decent setup, so I'm not too worried about VRam and all that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You could make that and any other chnages you want, save as a scene (including render settings) and then in Edit>Preferences use the Startup and Sceen tabs to set that scene to load on starting DS and creating a new scene.
That does exactly what I needed. Thank you, Richard!
