    If you were working in G8 and G9, I'd offer my thread on character creation for any value you might derive from it, but I did minimal work with G3.

    Thanks.  The only thing I can do is keep going and this what I intend to do.  Today I worked on organizing - what I have, what I don't have, what I think I need, what I can do without, what I can kitbash and so on.  I  need to get back to writing.

    Interesting.  I thought Iray was only an nvidia thing.  I did do a test render, it wasn't the great but it worked.   I downloaded whatever it gave me the other day - 4.23.  I've used Blender before but like everything got derailed for a while so it's been some time.  I have a RX 580 card, not great but a littler better than what I had.  Thanks.

    I feel for you. I CAN do some Iray stuff, but it's very slow on my ancient machine. I've just been stickin to 3Delight for now. And I can't use DForce at all. Whenever I install an update of DAZ Studio, I have to remove the DForce plugin, or Studio will crash when starting to load. 

    You can use all of the content you already have, and whichever render engine you're willing to wait on. There is a lot of free content out there; you don't need to spend a bunch of money to be able to create art. I've found using shaders is a great way to give new life to older content. 

    Don't get frustrated. Make the most of what you do have now.

    So are you saying none of the products you previously bought are showing in your account? Did you create a new account ? Do you remember the email you used to create the old account?if not maybe you could contact the help center to get access to your original account and have all your purchases show up  as owned ........ just a thought

    Converting characters between different Genesis figures is really easy. Look at WP Guru's videos on YouTube. I've done some characters who have morphs transferred from Genesis 1, 2, and 3 to 8, and the other way around. It may seem a bit confusing at first, but once you've tried it a few times, it all comes together.

    I"ll have to look around.  I started going through stuff yesterday.  Like I have a football uniform but no field.  I have a baseball field but no uniform lol.  things like that.  waiting on a render doesn't bother me as much.  it just depends on how long.  I can do other things while I'm waiting.  I always want to do so many different things and actually creating content is one of them.

    Thanks.  But no.  I was refering to their post where they were showing products for tweaking genesis 3 features.  I think there were 3 products.  When I said they don't show up, I was meaning that they didn't show up as me purchasing them.

    I'll take a look.  I've watched some of his vidoes before and subscribed.  I have converters to go up from like M4 to genesis to genesis 2  to genesis 3.  I stopped before right when genesis 8 came out.  and since 8 and 9 are primary focus now, I'd like to go backfward from 8 to 3, ata least for now until I win the lottery lol.

     Thanks.  Mostly I'm looking for school and sports stuff.  I have some items wishlisted,. but always on the lookout for different sports uniforms and locations such as tennis courts, football field, etc.  somethings I have and some I don't, but trying to get a list together.

    @whispers65 I found this thread this morning because of a script being released and a link. As I read it, I wanted to alert you to the upcoming Christmas sales period and that during it, DAZ PAs in the past have gifted us with wonderful free items. Some of the most useful scripts, makeup and other items I have used over the years I have been gifted from our PAs. It does require logging into the DAZ store daily and making sure to find it and checking out. Of course I have no idea if this will happen this year, but it has every year since I found DAZ in 2016.
