Classic side part hair can't load styles or mats
Load content manually from the purchased files and am having trouble with Classic side part hair and the Styles and Mats content. I am more than used to loading content in this way having done so for some years so am relativeley confident that my method is correct.
However when I load this item the Styles and Mats content fails to load properly. I have followed the format for loading and have dleted the entire thing and reloaded it several times with the same result... i have tried using the base G8 and G8.1 figures to check but this makes no difference. Can anyone see whats going wrong please

I loaded base genesis 8 female, and the hair and applied a number of preset to it without issues.
Do you get an error or what? And what does the log say Help > Troubleshooting > View Log?
The "preset" files in your screeshots just show *.djl files (Daz JSON Link file) rahter than DUF file, and they lost thumbnails, which means the original DUF files they linked to are missing or not within the original user-facing folders. Therefore they didn't work for you.
As for such products, since you don't install product via DIM, you either don't dump the files to your customized folder or recreate asset links or replicate preset files to each folder for G3F/G3M/G8F/G8M...
Edit: All of the original Shaping Presets / H.Mat Presets files locate in G8M's folder. There're only djl files in G3F/G3M/G8F folders ~~ So, you can directly go to G8M's folder to apply the presets to the hair.
Thanks to you both for the advice. I have no idea why but I removed the Styles and mats files from the Female folder and replaced them with the files from the male folder and it works!! I dont care how or why but it does. Maybe Daz should have a little chat the creator to avoid this kind of problem in the future... Thanks again....
