How do I find my Genesis and pre-Genesis characters?

G2, G3, etc., are easy to find but Genesis and pre-Genesis characters seem to be all over the place.

The pre-genesis are primarily Poser figures. You'll want to look in the Poser section of your Daz library. Then, yes, the figures and outfits will be all over the place. Lots of stuff will be stuffed in the Pose directory and more stuff will be in the Figures directory. It's shocking! And if you haven't been organizing the characters and other items over time, it might be a time-consuming endeavor, as well.
If you're on Windows and use DIM or DAZ Central for installing your content, and use the DS Library for finding stuff, you could try this one, it's free:
