Best way to create new G8F character texture maps

[Best way to create new G8F character texture maps] Not the diffuse map, which DS can do.  But what about the Normal, Bump, SSS/Translucency, Gloss/S, etc?  I'm sure Blender can do it, but I'm not a user.  Photoshop used to, but they moved it over to another product and I ain't paying them more money than I already do.

Well, the best way is to bake / paint them by using the software like Substance Painter, Mari or Blender as you said.

There're also some sites to generate NM, BUMP maps etc. online, you can google them.

or by using some software like Materialize (free) or ShaderMap, etc.

What do you mean by saying that DS can create a diffuse map? Shader Mixer can be used to create any type of map procedurally, Layered Images can also create mixes that can apply to anything.

If you want to paint maps £D Coat/Textura are also options.
