Dissapointed that current 'flash' sale do no stack with 30% golden ticket. Without it stacking, every other day that any (non current) product is in featured artist pool would get a better discount........But every other day is not a double token day
Me three! I instabought it without looking, and I had to return it and Fashionable Textures after my converter and both autofits mangled the collar. Nice shirt, though.
This is me as well. I look at the new releases and mostly go "meh", I look at the Golden Ticket and mostly go "meh". The GTs I have bought over the month have, apart from a very few, not even been downloaded, only purchased to bring prices down for my wishlist. This week, I'm bored of it all.
......I've been feeling the same, Usually I can't wait for double token Mondays and Tuesdays, but the last couple weeks I bought nothing
It seems that little changes except the Debut Releases and Golden Ticket items (most of the latter being G9 oriented) Even the weekly Quick Grab is primarily G9.
Little if anything changes on the Feature Artists sale, as well..While stores are swapped in and out, the selection in any given PA store stays the same..
Apparently it seems that the "Still New " designation has been expanded from the usual limit of 60 days to anything released after March 1st for the purpose of the Featured Artist sales. Items after that date up to the previous day's group of new releases only appear in the "Still New" catch-up sales which the orange banner discount does not apply to.
This is what makes for a rather "meh" sales event.
...wow, that's some seriously old stuff they're expecting us to get excited about getting for $2.99, let alone with a buy-in.
The selection is close to the $1 one last week, so they can view it as an opportunity to get some elements someone wasn't able to get last week.
I think it's the very bland and samey structure all sales have these days. Not just not much changing in terms of the actual items, but the sales page, the promos, the conditions etc are almost always the same. Not just during one sale, but these days, almost all sales look and are build the same way.
With the DAZ+ sale, for instance, we used to have different things happening on different days of the sales week - like the release of the free bundles, the new round of BYOB items (this alone could keep one happily occupied for the the rest of the week), new DAZ+FAD items every day ... One kept holding one's thumbs for some cool items to show up in BYOB or the daily deals. And in between, the weirdest, funniest extra stuff would happen, like amazing flash sales with totally strange conditions or rotations, etc pp ... I loved these sales because it felt like the DAZ folks themselves were so excited about them that they were practically bubbling with ideas how to make it fun for everyone. Yes, it was often chaotic, but those days, it wasn't such a problem if sales conditions failed or whatever, because you just took screenshots and DAZ would always honor any promises they'd made in the promo.
Ah, happy days. But my external SSDs is full anyways, and I'm heavily back into other hobbies, so it's probably better all around. Just sorry for the newbies who missed that fun time.
While this sale lacks some sort of excitement factor or something, its not ineffective. Took around 200 items of my wishlist so far.
I think we all go through such phases.
Since Daz raised prices while my income didn't rise, I had to become more picky and instead of making purchases based on "I want it," I make them based on "Do I need it?" with even a more stringent "Do I need it any time soon?" I used to buy Daz+ products weekly, just because they were cheap. Now sometimes I go weeks without getting one, and I also didn't commit to the yearly membership anymore. I'll cancel my current one and only re-sub for Christmas, or if some crazy good deal comes earlier.
What doesn't help is the constant glitches in offers that turn out too good to be true and the floor pricing (I'd have gotten many dinosaur-old products in bulk if they weren't capped at $2.99).
So, in the end, I build carts daily, and then I dump them, because I realize I don't really need any of those products. They're neat, but I can live without them. Same for Golden Tickets. Some are excellent products, but I don't need them for anything, so I pass. New releases have been mostly meh to me, and on days like today, when they have 5 out of 11 products by one vendor and not varies, I don't feel tempted either. I have 4 tokens expiring tomorrow, and I still haven't found a deal worth using them on.
I still can be incentivized to spend. My Wishlist has still over 3600 items on it. The Build Your Own Flash Sale offer from a week (or two now?) ago was excellent and it made me spend more than I intended (and if I had more to spend, I'd have spent more ;) ). The weekly Quick Grab items usually have something I want to pick up (and might be a reason to keep my Daz+ membership going).
So, in a way, I'm not complaining about the sale. It's not bad, and I know a lot of people are happily buying. It's just not stunning enough to make me grab my credit card and spend.
Gift card sale on the rotating banner for those who have some new or still new releases they want to use as a buy-in.
...I've been that way, adding "will I actually have any use for it". I still purchase Daz+ items, most often the brutalist architecture sets because they fit with my story ideas.
I'll be keeping my Daz.+ membership going for the upcoming D+ sale but then likely not renew until MM.
Same here. The only way I've been able to undercut the 2.99 "floor" was using my Daz+ DO coupon.
Crikey, and I thought my Wishlist was bif (though over half of the last page are "inactive" products).

Very old things for $1.99 - there were a couple of items I might have got (another dragon3 iray converter, things like that...) but nothing worth 5x from a Grab-Bag I want nothing from (first time that's happened with those, though).
Giftcard - 20% is good. But minimum $20 buy-in of two things I don't want is 20% in $100 back
tbh the little garden golden-ticket, and its pots, was lovely (so I __almost__ did that)
But yeah ... meh
I just want to say thank you DAZ for the gift card sale. I was about to check out when I saw it. I didn't have a new item in the cart, but there were a few still new items I had wishlisted I put in my cart and the card dropped by 20%. It will help if I can remember it is not to be used in a week, but to be stretched. But, I did have a Predatron cart and I am happy. He is a gift that keeps on giving.

The flawed sales idea for these golden ticket items is that if I miss one i.e a day I can't check I won't buy it the next day for the higher price, I simply won't pay more for something I could have gotten for less the day before.
Oh interesting. The store now has an "only wishlisted" checkbox at the top.
At first I only saw that check box when I was viewing my wishlist. I now see that a store or selection has to be displayed for that optiont to show. I think that filter is something that many people have asked for. Hopefully it works...
thats very cool - finally.
Weird! It's showing everywhere for me,
Will wonders never cease?
It works for me. Which browser are you using? Does it work if you restart in troubleshooting mode (or whatever your browser calls an option to run without extensions)?
It's working for me now, Richard. I may have been using an old tab that hadn't updated.
The wishlist filter someone (sorry I forget who) wrote was integrated into the Daz Shop!!
Now if only they could put the categories filter on all pages. (They always want more, right?)
In case anyone wants to thank the author personally, check this thread
A wishlist-only filter is now baked into the store. There's even an announcement in today's sale page.
Love the new Wishlist feature. Sadly, the 'wishlist' sale is meh at most, golden ticket does not trigger extra discount and selection carefully avoids stacking with 30% feature artist coupon.
