Skin Stretching

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with skin stretching on my Genesis figure (9) in Daz Studio. When I pose my character, particularly when bending the knees or elbows, the skin stretches in an unrealistic way.

I found a strange workaround: if I apply the MAT NB UBER or PBR materials from a different character, the stretching disappears and the deformation looks correct. However, this obviously changes the skin color and texture to match the other character, which is not what I want.

Has anyone encountered this before? How can I fix the deformation without changing the character's appearance?

Thank you.

I found a workaround for a texture issue: I saved a Material Preset from one character and applied it to another, but I excluded the head from the selection.

Now the body has the new material, but the head remains with the original one. This has caused a very obvious color mismatch between the head and the body.

Is it possible to match the body's skin color to the head while keeping the new material's properties on the body? Essentially, I want the body to have the new texture but adopt the head's skin color to make them seamless.

Is the base colour map relatively low resolution?

Could it be a UV problem?

Yes, I misread the workaround as applying a map (which wouldn't change the UVs) but a material certainly could. It could also be that the probvlem mats are made for an alternative UV set that isn't loading.
