Hair controls/transforms?

Are there any ultilities for hair like the Fit Control? Things to edit a hairstyle like length, curl strength, frizz, etc or is that too finnicky and mercurial of a thing to create? Sometimes I like a hairstlye but want it to have more volume, length, or whatever but the hair doesn't have enough, or any adjustments.
