In Render Settings > Environment, set Environment Mode to Sun-Sky Only, or (as I usually do) remove the HDRI from Dome and Scene.
But you might need to Create > New Enironment Options Node first, or just start a render and it will be created.
Alternative method to above... ...can be used in conjunction also...
If you search for 'sun dial' or 'sun dial set' in smart content files, there is a tool that points an arrow from the ground at world zero to the sky where the sun is positioned and you get elevation and azimuth sliders in parameters - this way you can have a correctly placed sun in the sky of a dome and scene project. The icon has no picture in my daz so you are looking for the 'exclamation mark' image, it is definitely there, you need to highlight 'sun chain' in the scenes tab to get the sliders in parameters, so you can essentially work with a sun in the sky at a confirmed position and also use spotlights etc (absent from sun-sky only)....
...yeah, I always use the Sun Chain instead of the "real world" time settings as I just need the sun in the sky illuminating the scene .
Fortunately there is now also content for "atmospheric effects" (clouds, haze, fog, precipitation) that works with the Iray Sun/Sky setting so you can have more variety instead of just a featureless clear sky..
