Animation question
I have been importing FBX figures from Sketchfab. They work pretty well with bones etc, except they come in on their belly facing downward. I can live with that since it is a simple tweak of the Rotation preference and they are up right.
My question is this: Many of these come with animations. These animations work just fine when they are on their belly. But when I stand the figures on their feet and run the animation, the figures immediately flop to their belly and then start moving.
I have tried saving the animation as a Pose preset and then apply it to the static version of the figure (which I previously saved as a Scene Subset). It immediately flops to its belly and starts moving.
Is there any way to get the animation to work while the figure is in the upright position?
Here is the URL for the figure that I am currently trying to get to work: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/hybrid-3c6341e0338b494290dfee2d5580200f It is called: Hybrid.

After posting my question, I tested the link - I get an error 404 message. I then pasted it into my browser and it worked just fine. So If you want to go to that URL - copy the URL and then paste it directly into a browser.
Thanks
It was the double space after the link that was braking it.
How are you standing the figure up? Try usinbg the figure node instead if you are using the hip - that will usually be independent, with the hip bone being aniamted, thouygh you may still need to seelct the figure node and use the Edit>Figure>Clear Animation Data>Clear Seelcted Item(s) to get rid of zero keys on each frame.
That worked!!! Thanks Richard
