Saving prop placement to compliment new pose

Is there a way to save where a prop places when it is loaded so that it always goes to where it should based on a pose preset that I created.  If I want a phone or pistol to always load into the hand that I created the pose with, how can I do that?  Or do I always to to tweek the item to fit the hand?
