Posing limitations? Any way around this?

I am trying to pose a character in a pose that is pretty common and pretty easily achieavable in real life but when I try to do that on Daz3D I hit some sort of limitation on the movements. Attaching the two photos here to illustrate what I'm facing, hope someone can help!

Thanks!

    Hello there,

select the part of the figure you want to pose, let's say 'Spine 2'.

Then go to Parameters and turn off 'Use Limits' on the Bend/Twist/Side sliders for that particular body part. You can do that by clicking on the little wheel icon next to each slider.

You will now be able to pose that body part beyond it's 'natural' posing limit.

    Hope this helps!

Be aware that some jcms may not work fine outside limits though, that is, you may expect unnatural or broken deformations this way, especially for extreme poses. The issue is even more harmful in animation where you may trigger jcms flipping or popping. That said most daz poses are outsde limits and they tend to work fine enough nonetheless, just don't push it too far.

Yeah, that makes sense! In this case I want to pose it for a still and it's just a bit past the limit, so I didn't find any problems! :-)
