Render Question - Scene Traversal message

Hi all,
I recently ran into an issue where Daz Studio was stalling at launch and eventually displayed an error about being unable to connect to the CMS. To resolve it, I reinstalled the PostgreSQL CMS via Install Manager.
Now, when rendering scenes, I’m noticing repeated log entries like:

Iray (Scene Traversal) : Initializing update

Iray (Scene Traversal) : Retrieving journal and checking for changes

This message appears repeatedly throughout the render process, not just during initialization. I don’t recall seeing this behavior before—has anyone else experienced this? Is it expected, or could it be a sign of lingering CMS or scene traversal issues?

That is expected - nVidia has chnaged what messages Iray gives from time-to-time even when the underlying mechanics have not changed, you can check the nVidia change log for more details (there are abridged, to move irrelevant sections, summaries in the sticky threads in Daz Studio Discussions). Make sure that Iray isa ctually using the GPU though - an abrupt chnage in perfoemance may be down to driver issues or hardware settings in the Advanced tab of Render Settings if you had to do a hard exit or had a crash.
