Newly installed figures restricting access

I just installed two new character sets for gen 8 and now I cannot access poses, clothes, hair etc for my existing characters? I've had this happen before and unistalling the new character and a base genesis figure and then re-installing the base genesis figure has solved the problem but not this time.

Creepy dolls and ball joint dolls are the newly installed figures.

Any sugestions greatfully received.

You mean in Smart Content with Filter By Context checked? And reinstalling the Starter Essentials doesn't help (you shouldn't need to uninstall the other content, it just needs the base compatibility settings updated)? How are you installing content?
