Strand based vs. Polygon Based Hair

Please, Vendors.
Make sure to be clear, if your dforce hair products are strand based or polygon based.

    I agree.

It's annoying not to buy a model I like the look of because there's no way to ascertain - just a comment in the blurb would be fine. It's even more relevant if the intention is to use in filatoon (where poly seems to work much better) - so I tend to buy much older hair-products if I want that specific use. I also have quite a few strand-based hair "shaders" and it's annoying when I think I'll be able to achieve a particular colour for a style, only to discover it isn't strand-based afterall.

Agreed. I know there are description conventions like 'dForce Hair' and 'Hair with dForce'. Don't faff about, just tell us straight. Is it strand or is it polygon? Those are words that are impossible to mis-interpret. Regards, Richard.

It does make a difference in what you're needing it for too.
