how to make a light dimmer for animation

Am wanting to add a part in a Daz Iray animation where a guy is underground in a bunker and missles are hitting the land above ground, in each impact the lights flicker and often even dimmer/go lower. How is it possible to do this with lighting please? what do I need to adjust to make the light effect of a light be toned down/dimmed. Thx.

    Yes, Scene Lights Parameters can be animated.
