Files downloaded prior to installing in DIM - how do I retrieve the downloaded Zip files?

I would like to know, do files downloaded through DIM get downloaded as zips before they get installed? If so, how do I delete the zip folders after being downloaded?

    From the Ready to Install Tab, there is a checkbox at the very bottom: Delete Package once Installed

    If you want to delete stuff that is already installed, go to the Basic Settings screen and find the Package Archive path. Browse there and delete to your heart's content.
