Help Center & Changing Email

I have a few open tickets through the Help Center. In an unrelated matter, I changed my email for my account. Today, I received a reponse from the Help Center, and when I went into reply, I get a...

"Oops.
The page you were looking for doesn't exist
You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved."

Used the link in the email I was sent. Not only that, all of my tickets are gone. So I changed my email back to the old one. And they are still gone.

Anyone have an issue like this of tickets just vanishing?

My complete ticket history back to 2008 disappeared too a while ago.  I thought they had cleaned up the accounts or something, so I didn't do anything.  But I actually changed my email address shortly before it happened, so that could very well be the reason.

New tickets added since have been working fine though.

If you changed your email, your help desk history does disappear. It happened to me years ago so I don't change my email anymore at DAZ3D.com.

Yup, years ago the same thing happened to me.

Have anyone complained, to make them aware of it?

My tickets are back, but only because I changed my email back to the old one.

Maybe the system had to update or "catch up"? I dunno.

Just a little odd to tie tickets to emails rather than accounts.

Lesson Learned: If you change your account email from A to B, your tickets will disappear. And only come back if you change it back and wait a day. Maybe?

    *sigh*

I have never changed mail, but my guess is that the ticket system is independant from forum/DS, and therefore when you change it, the ticket system no longer know who you are.
