Mixamo created rig problems in DAZ

Hi

I spent all day manually rigging Poser’s La Femme Pro 2 character (right down to her toes and fingers) so I could use her in DAZ. But I missed one step thus I couldn’t proceed without starting all over again. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! So then I decided to let Mixamo rig it - which worked! It’s not perfect, but close enough. All I had to do was set the bend, twist, and move limits. Mixamo was able to do in minutes what took me a whole day to do!

My question:

1) I tried adding a La Femme outfit to the Mixamo rigged La Femme. Problem is - it wouldn’t conform/adhere when I dropped it onto her body. The auto fit says "Unsupported" and it won’t let me say what type of clothing it is.

When I hit "Accept", the trousers were up on her shoulders, likewise with the top. How do I get them to adhere in the proper places and conform to her body?

BTW: the outfit fits perfectly in Poser, so I know it is not a problem with the clothing.

FYI: So people don’’t get excited about using Mizamo to create a DAZ compatible La Femme character: I just noticed that there is a surfaces problem which I must figure out. — I uploaded to Mixamo an object without textures. So when Mixamo was done, the figure was white. Now when I try to select a surface to add the textures, it wants to change the bone color, not the surface color. I have to figure this out later.

But I still want my original question answered for when I figure how to fix this surface problem.

I almost know nothing about Poser... but AutoFit in DS is designed for Genesis figures rather than any other types of figures, that's why you find no options in AutoFit dialogue and the unexpected result without using any Clone.

A proper way is to rig the clothing on you Mixamo La Femme by using Transfer Utility... (if your Mixamo La Femme was imported from an FBX...)  In this way, you need to follow the standard procedure of using Transfer Utility ~~

    - If La Femme clothing is a CR2, export both figure and clothing to, let's say, Blender, make the clothing a perfect it on the figure.
    - Export the clothing to OBJ and import OBJ into DS.
    - Rig OBJ object onto Mixamo La Femme with Transfer Utility.

Thanks Crosswind. I will give that a try.
