VDB not showing inside an atmospheric haze cube

I am trying to get a VDB to show up inside a regular cube primitive that is being used to create haze.

I have a huge cube primitive setup to scatter a bit of light to give an atmospheric haze and I had a VDB from VDB cloud collection for iray  which i am trying to use to suggest smoke coming out of a car.

The cloud VDB will not show up while the atmospere cube is in the scene at the same time.
