Daz 2025 renders not converging to specified max samples

With a 50-series I have no choice but to render in 6.25 2025, (which I use solely to render after setting up scenes in 4.24). Using the same Progressive Rendering settings as I did in 4.24 with my 40-series, I would often push renders to 25k+ for a more polished look, to clean up noise in shadows, etc. Loading the same scenes and settings (e.g., Min and Max samples: 25000, Max Time: 0. Rendering Quality: 1.0, Converged ratio: 100%), renders in 6.25 stop prematurely, usually somewhere around the 5-7k sample range but rarely lower than 5k. It's as if a terminating "good enough" condition has been met, which is ignoring or overriding render settings. Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?

I don't quite understand... Normally if you want to render with Max Samples, you shoud turn off Rendering Quality Enable otherwise there'll be a "first met, first stop" ~~ If you want to render with quality enable, you should set Max Sample / Time as -1, and crank up Rendering Quality and RCR %. However, this option sometimes cannot really give you a better render than using Max Samples ~~ I personally never use Rendering Quality Enable ~~

Besides, I've seen no info. about the change of Rendering Quality Enable in DS 2025... so I doubt if a 50 series card gives you a worse result in DS 2025 than using a 40 series card with the same render settings in DS 4.2x.
