Trying To Use Ultimate Natural Bend Morphs- Can Find Only One Slider

3DSaga3DSaga Posts: 641

From the product description- https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-natural-bend-morphs-for-genesis-9-feminine-20- I'm under the impression there should be sliders for the various areas they affect. I've only been able to find one slider using the "instructions" in the product description.

This is the statement I'm referring to: To find the parameters, go to Genesis 9> Actor > Full Body>Feminine > K.H. Image Studio>UNBM for Genesis 9 Feminine for the set, and /or go to Genesis 9>Actor>other body actors

I can find "... UNBM for Genesis 9 Feminine for the set", but what do they mean by "for the set"?  It's only one slider.  What do they mean in the last part of the statement, "...and/or go to Genesis 9>Actor>other body actors" ?  Am I being too literal- I don't have ">other body actors"?  At least, I haven't found that so far.

As a side note, I really do think a product read-me should be more than a duplicate of the product description.

I would assume they are in the Parameters tab. Have you looked there?

Did you try to search for UNBM in the parameters tab with Genesis 9 selected ?

Thank you, Felis and Elor! The search in the Parameters tab brought them all up.

That's the kind of information that would be beneficial to have in the read me, though it's probably obvious to experienced users.

It's going to be fun to play around with these bend morphs.

  • Hi All,

Do these not work as JCMs that trigger automatically? You have to adjust them manually?

So far I've been adjusting them manually. I think the idea is it allows you to adjust them to your liking rather than a pre-set amount.  I'm still experimenting with them.

    UPDATE

I think if you use the single slider, it will apply all the others in proportion to how much the single slider is dialed in. If you save the work as a subset, it will apply your settings until you change them. The single slider is like a global setting, and the individual sliders are for further control of specific areas. Now that I've spent some time with it, it's an easy to use and versatile tool. I'm glad I got it.

Yes, the product page and readme state that these are JCMs and MCMs. They  will apply automatically at the appropriate strength when activated. They are activated (or deactivated) by a Shaping preset. The purpose of the individual parameters is to adjust the automatic values if you want more or less correction than is automatically applied.

That's what my initial problem was- as the statement you quoted is written, it wasn't coming up. "UNBM" has to be entered in the filter field of the Parameters tab in order to bring up the set. At least, that's how it's working for me.
