HELP MY FIGURES ARE BLOCKS AND I HAVE ALL THE GENESIS STUFF

HELP ME PLEASE I Recently Got back my Victus laptop and i reinstall Daz But now my figures are blocks and i have my stuff install PLEASE HELP ME I EVEN TRIED INSTALLING FROM DIM INSTEAD OF CENTRAL IT LOOKS LIKE MY 8.1 Stuff is affected even though its supposed to be installed the other genesis figures  are running good i even tried uninstalling the figures and reinstalling on the actual daz3d AND NOW THEY ALSO LOOK GREY FIGURES INSTEAD OF COLORS PLEASE HELP ME NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO, Also for context the second image is that of Erin HD for Genesis 8.1 Female instead of her textures shes in grey which never happens i even have it on texture

    It looks like there is a mismatch for your Data and Runtime folder.

    If you look in Daz Studio Edit > Preferences > Content > Content Dircetory Manager under Daz Studio formats, does the "My Library" path match with what you have in DIM under Advanced Settings?

    And does that path include something in Onedrive?

    ONEDRIVE OF COURSE IT RUINS EVERYTHING but i can't stop it otherwise some of my icons get that exclamation mark error i mean its probably working now but one drive ruined everything how can i fix it

    I will suggest moving your content to a folder outside 'My documents' where Onedrive can't get it. Could be an external drive if you have that.

    Define a new content library, and update it in Daz Studio and DIM.

    Usually I would suggest to move your existing content, but as in your case some data are corrupted, I would probably suggest to reinstall. If you have the downloads it shouldn't take that long (depending on the amount of content). If not you will need to download. You can try to move the existing, but I will assume that there is missing files, as you get errors.

    If you move the files and it works, you need to update the manifest files (files that tell DIM what is installed and where), but we can come back to that later if relevant.

    Oh yes When possible it would be nice to step by step it isn't that there corrupted they were again clutched by one drive

    I just noted now, that it was your Connect drive you showed. What does Daz Studio format look like?

    This, this is where DIM will save content. Connect is where content is saved when installed from inside Daz Studio.

    @ Puma283f I have experienced the same problem as you.

    Now let me tell you something.

    Sometimes, I have been working on an scene, the characters got some clothing fitted to them G8 F and M, G9 F/M

    I had a problem with Windows 11, the only thing was to reinstall again; is a pain, but there was no other way.

    For Daz content is not a problem to reinstall, DIM  can take care of it.

    Content outside Daz, free content you may find somewhere else, is the cause too.

    I selected the offending items in the Parameters Tab and pressed the DEL key on the keyboard.

    Then substituted that items with different ones.

    Otherwise, manual install the content you may have.

    Remember to work in Texture Shaded View, is fast than using NVIDIA-Iray View; you can see the objects laid out on screen, but you will sacrifice speed, unless you are sure the scene is ready to render.

    This is by far the experience I had.

    Try to see what works best for you.
