    It is interesting, now that I am in my 60'a, how news like this can impact.  I remember my grandfather joking (sorta) years ago about checking up on people he knows by looking at the obituary in the newspaper. Every passing, no matter who they were, can have an immedate impact. A reminder that we are mortal.  I always knew it; it's just more real each new day.

    It is always sad if it is one of your childhood heroes that dies.

    I'm more a fan of Mad Dog Vachon, André the Giant, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
