Problem with Look At My Hair

Okay, right off the top. I'm running on a 6-year-old intel iMac. I'm working -- or trying to work -- in Studio 4,12. I do have a couple of later versions available. But it *ought* to work in 4.12,/ It's done it before.

I've got the LAMH Player installed. I'm working in 3DLight. I'm trying to apply the provided 3DL preset to the red squirrel roden polymorph.

Every time I hit 'Apply Preset' in the LAMH pane, Studio quits. The model originally came with 3DLight presets as well as Iray. So just clicking on the icon in the materials pane ought to apply it, but I do see that the re-download no longer comes with the LAMH presets. Any of them.

I've re-downloaded and reinstalled the figure. I've re-downloaded the presets -- which have no instructions as to where they are supposed to be put, I'm assuming that it does not matter and we are supposed to simply navigate to where they are stored and apply them from the pane, if the pane is working.

Currently, it isn't. Any suggestions?

Update: Have re-downloaded and reinstalled the Player. No difference. Any attempt to apply a preset crashes Studio.
