Keyframes not saving

Example. Positioned character on keyframe 30. Click on a figure, select children, click on memorize obj(s), click on restore obj(s). Then I go to keyframe 60, move character around, go back to 30 only to find that no movement was saved. Same is happening with memorize and restore figure. So what is the deal here. Animating is dead in the water right now......

What are you expecting Memorise to do? It sets the current state of the relevant proeprties (all of them in this case)  as the default values, to which restore will reset them - it doesn't have any connection to animation, you are need to set keys (explicitly via the button at the bottom of the Timeline or by adjusting values with auto-creation on).

I have been using memorize and restore both obj and figure for years now in this very fashion. Seems like you never knew it could do that. Guess you learned something. You are welcome.

I have not had this problem. My problem is that after setting values for keyframes, DAZ is randomly supplying other values for the frames in between they key frames, but only sometimes.

I will often set a beginning value and an end value to be the same, then set some middle value to be a different value so it will loop, only to find that several frames have values set that do not appear as keyframes and result in wild animations. Sometimes I will have to set half the frames in an animation by hand to stop it.

Not sure what you're asking here. Are you trying to save the pose at frame 30 and than make a different pose at frame 60?
