Option to turn on denoiser not available

I don't know if this even matters, since the denoiser uses the GPU and the Mac doesn't have NVIDIA GPUs, but somehow the option to turn on the denoiser no longer appears on one of my Macs. It's present on my other Mac (a laptop), just not on my iMac. And I'm pretty sure it was there a couple of days ago. I could also swear there was a "revert to last saved" option under the File menu that was present on one of my computers, but not the other, and that I was able to get it back by resetting Daz to factory settings, but now I don't see it on either machine, and I can't find the "reset to factory settings" option, either.

Can you find it if you turn on Preferences > Show Hidden Properties, from that "hamburger menu" in the upper right corner of Render Settings tab ?

  • Thanks, I re-opened Daz and it's there now. But very useful to know about that option in the hamburger menu.

If the denoiser doesn't work what would be the benefit of having the control to turn it on? Not that I am at all sure what happens with denoising on Macs, but on Windows ir does depend on having an nVidia GPU involved in the render..
