Serious complaint - My cart just tripled in price

I had a cart full of items from the genesis 2 sale with a total price of under $50, When I came beck from taking the dogs for a walk and went to finish shopping, the total had incresed to over $160.  Well DAZ,. It is your stuff and you can charge what you want but its not nice to change the parameters in the middle of the sale.

If that is the way you plan to act I don't have to buy from you. I'll take my business elsewhere.

  • There was actually a bug where two sales were overlapping that should have (the 70% G2 and the March MAdness rules).  Once the issue was pointed out we resolved the bug.  I realize that this may have been frustrated if you saw a price in your cart, but that price was not correct.

I'm guessing there was a mistake made when the MM vendor items were included in the 70% off category causing a stacked discount. I still think DAZ should have either communicated better or rolled with it for the one day it'd be an issue, but they decided to just 'fix' the mistake and cause sudden cart price increases.

Have you tried to hit reloading? I have stuff from G2 sale in my cart since this morning, and the price seems fine, no changes.

Something is wrong today. I had a cart with several items in it, deeply discounted and when I was checking out my card was rejected because I've been away and they wanted to make sure it was really me. Fine, but they mentioned that the charge the credit card company received was significantly different than what my cart showed, over $50 more.  It didn't correlate with undiscounted prices, it just seemed almost random.

I did the transaction again and it worked and I confirmed I was charged the correct ammount.  But it points to some error in their system today/.  I've never seen that sort of thing before.

DAZ Steve - Yes the sales stacked and it was nice.; but you should have honored that commitment. Since you won't, I plan to not purchase much more here.

And this is not the first time that sales have overlapped and you changed the parameters midstream. I don't think it will make for very good customer relationships in the future.

    Regards,

    An unhappy DAZ customer.

Commitment? It was a mistake. One which meant PAs were getting hosed.

I'm also disappointed that the bargains weren't real. Poo, etc; but such is life.
