But that is dated 2017.

In answer to your question, those are the minimum system requirements to run studio.
It'll run horribly, and you'll be highly limited in what you can do, but it will mostly still work, and that's all a minimum is about.
If you're wondering if some particular hardware you have will run studio, just post the specs and we can give you an opinion on them.
If you're looking for recommendations for hardware, just ask and you'll get plenty of opinions.
TLDR: Any basic 32gb memory office machine* with a $200 Nvidia 3060 2nd hand graphics card added to it. *You need to make sure a machine's power supply has a 6+2 pin power connector. I guess that power connector requirement is also an important true minimum requirement.
In practice I personally wouldn't recommend Daz unless you are willing to punt for a 2nd hand Nvidia 3060 12GB card. This for me is a realistic minimum. And 32GB system 'DDR ram' memory.
From reading comments on the forum people still do CPU rendering. And if you only want to do occasional stuff and don't mind leaving your machine on half a day for a final render it can still work. So there isn't technically a minimum.
I had a 3060 12GB briefly in 2021 felt it was just fine for creating the type of renders you see on the shop pages. Prior to this I was using a 12 core CPU to render. And before that an 11GB 1080ti (rendered useless in 2020 by Nvidia Iray changes).
For the computer processor - CPU; If you are rendering on a graphics card like the 3060 you don't really need more than a 4-6 core CPU. So something like an AMD 3600 or Intel 10400 or better. Ie literally the cheapest currently sold office PC is fine CPU wise. And 32gb memory.
