Do we say, "I Do" to Brianna 9 or leave her at the altar?
I like the character. Good texture. Nice figure to add to the DAZ3D gene pool. Probably will be using my free bundle coupon to get her.

I don't. Not yet. I just redeemed my free coupon for the Xui Lin 9 HD Character Bundle. But Brianna's skin looks really nice.
BUT she looks good - and actually Hispanic - in the promos for JW Wedding Day Expressions for Brianna 9.
So... What does she actually look like out-of-box?
She kinda reminds me of Victoria 5, so I want her for that reason. https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-5 It's not the first time DAZ remade a legacy shape under a different name. Penny 8 was Victoria 3, and Noa 8.1 was Michael 4. So I guess Brianna 9 is Victoria 5, lol.
I'm also curious about her skin tone. It looks like something I somehow don't have yet.
The bundle content looks really nice, but I super don't need bridalwear. As for the character, the skin looks nice, but I think that's the only reason people are saying she looks Hispanic, because the sculpt is really non-descript.
I was banking on today being a male character so saved up my DAZ+ coupon and tokens - now I need to find something to spend them on. Not even a wedding suit for the guys :-(
As noted for a high-profile wedding in Venice, 'money can't buy you taste or class.' The bundle is a hard pass for me. The two hairs on the other hand are lovely.
I got a bit jumpscared first . I like her silhouette and the hairstyles.
On the other hand I've been wishing for black and heavier core figures for months only for them to restrict those as Premier exclusive and a 21 / 30$ single morph "addon". That's the same price as Mechasar's Beverly which is a full character with quality textures, makeup, jcms, body folds, customizable heaviness...
The Addon-ception also doesnt feel right sometimes, which is splitting a dress in different products (the veil, sleeves and bustle) and even make an addon texture for the addon, selling you 4 products from 2, for the sake of justifying a pack's price tag.

The character face model is a Chloe 9 clone, so not a good value for those who have her (or other variants of her). However, the non-character items in her bundle are pretty nice, especially the hairstyles, makeup and the skin isn't too bad.
Brianna looks rather good, and I really like the hairstyles.
The bridal wear is not my style but looks well made, and I quite like the outdoor wedding set. None of them are things I have any need for though.
why she called Brianna 9 HD when you need to buy the HD separately.
She looks nice, but I want the bridal bundle, which doesn't work with the premier coupon, more than the character, of which their are plenty of similarly nice characters to choose from.
She's okay and the skin does seem good, but I also don't need bridal things. And I like the long hair in the character bundle. The Summer Lace Dress is pretty - but with different shoes. (Almost any other shoes, please.)
My Premier ends in early July, giving me another free bundle, so might get her then...if there's no older bundle I like better in the selection. Or I will pick her up in a sale down the road.
I hear yah!
I used my coupon on Ava. I don't see that Brianna 9 or her bundle brings anything new to the table.
No idea. I've brought up this issue before where now we always need to buy the HD-Addon for the characters to really be HD. Didn't used to be like that. I wish she just came with HD and we received another product instead of the Add-on, but it's just a wasted slot, as usual.
In midgaard's render above, the dress and accessories look way nicer than in the promos. I like the long hair, but doesn't it seem awfully like the one that came out with Victoria 9? I know it's dForce now, but just the style?
Yeah, that's the one! I've just compared them side by side. I do feel they are quite similar, despite the differences you pointed out, but seeing the rather heavy weight of OOT's hair once more (for my little laptop and RTX 2... series and only 16 GB RAM at least), I might just get the new dForce one anyways. They're so much smaller, and least by some vendors, and usually behave well on my rig. Thanks for your input for sure!
If the wedding gowns came with undress morphs I'd find them more appealing. They'd make better transitions for a variety of scenarios. Undress/Dressing are pretty much the same thing after all.
To do it properly, you would need to open thr dress (where the zipper is). You cannot do that with a morph.
They could have left the verteces in a line be unwelded, but then you cannot simulate that area as it would split. So you would have to have a dForce add-on to hold it together when closed.
It is doable, but more tricky than just doing it.
Not gonna lie, I find it frustrating when Filatoon products are texture add-ons to an iray product (in the case of the Summer Dress). I'm much less likely to purchase the Filatoon product if I also have to buy some other product I don't need and have it take up space on my computer for it to even work.
Not to mention, the quality of it looks poor. It looks the same as if you slapped one of the base Filatoon shaders on an iray item, didn't adjust any settings, and called it a day. I am not trying to criticize the work of artists, but the way it's all set up reads as a lazy cash grab.
Actually it's really "simple" but may not be worth the effort for most of the products: The zip would be a straight cut on a line of vertices on the cloth, and illusion of a zip would be made with the textures and mask, or even with more 3D mesh. Some additive and cumulative morphs would control both sides of the dresse's zip plus a metalic part that goes up/down as the morph is dialed.
Fit Control for Genesis 9 is a product that may help you with the illusion of dressing/undressing, and works on any piece of clothing.
A bit behind the times.
I picked Brianna up because I had a bundle voucher to use up. She's not my favourite. The materials are ashy, and the sculpt is not to my taste. I'd recommend Lyna as an alternative (for the better materials)
The HD will download via Install Manager, but I can't see it in Daz (haven't had a chance to chase that up yet) so she rendered here as the base model
Tried out here out of the box then with one of the Natural Bends products.
I bought a few effects sets, so was trying those out. The pink/white dress in these is the one from the bundle. In the pink dress picture I have added Brianna's materials to Beverly. The flowy hair is nice, maybe a bit too shiney.
(My computer kept nope-ing out on the sparkles so I don't think this got very far along rendering)
(Dress seemed to dforce well)
Billie is Premiere addon.
Thanks, @sid! Those are some promo-worthy test renders.
