I keep putting stuff in my cart, then go to a different site, forget aboutit, then go back to the cart the next day only to find out the item is now full price. Its very frustrating. Need to jump and buy right now. that spur of the moment shopping.
without thinking...thats what they want, right? oh oh ..its on sale..grab it quick!

Kind of like in the rest of the world huh? Its on sale and then it is not...
Pretty much! I saw this bracelet i wanted to get my GF last week and it was 55% off in the window. Asked the sales person if it would be on sale the next day and she said yes. Went back the next day and found it was no longer on sale. Turns out it was just that one that was on sale and it sold DOH!
I usually add the items that I want to my cart, then pare it down to a total price that I can afford, then sleep on it. That was fine when I slept from 7am-3pm, the prices wouldn't change. Now that I'm sleeping 10pm-6am, they change. I've saved a ton... I'd rather sleep during the day so that I can keep up with my cat.
I'm always getting caught by ebook sales. I get a newsletter with loads of good ebook deals but every so often I get behind reading email and by the time I go look at the book a day or two later the sale has ended.
Store reset and addition of new product, start of sales, end of sales etc is midnight Utah time (2am est) btw.
It's kind of like the new computer I ordered yesterday. Today the same configuration would cost me over $200 more. I'm glad I jumped on the sale when I did.
Amazon gets me the same way. Here is the list of ebooks on sale for $1.99 or less. No will power at all when its a great deal. >..<
Mine is this thing called bookbub.. and I am sure that they make money through afiliate programs... But none the less those cheep (and sometimes free) books sucker me in.
