Has anyone tried Riversoft Art's G9 to G8 clothing converter?

Looking at this product called "RSSY Clothing Converter from Genesis 9 to Genesis 8" by RiverSoft Art as I need something like this and I am wondering if anyone has used it before and would you recommend?

I own the product but I haven't used it yet. But I've used other versions of it. They are generally good products and yield decent results. They're not perfect, some garments don't convert well. But they're a useful tool to have for garments that don't auto-fit well. I find that generally speaking skirts do well, pronounced shoulders do not, and capes and cloaks are hit-or-miss.

I have, but it's one of comparatively few products I've ever returned to the store.

I found it to be extremely slow (like several minutes per item), and while I raised this with Riversoft on the forums, he did not say anything that indicated this slow speed was anomalous (presumably ruling out it being an error on my specific system) or that it would be addressed going forwards.

With that in mind, I found simply using autofit clone templates and manually fixing the weight paint in troublesome areas (e.g. armpits/crotch) to be a considerably faster and often superior result, so I returned it.

It's not perfect... some stuff still fits....wrong....

It's hit or miss... a lot of miss...
