In the Blink of an Eye, do you get an error?

So awhile ago, I noticed The Age for Genesis 9 (which appears to be missing now) product gives Genesis 9 an error when using the blink pose. An update came out, but the problem still isn't fixed 100%. Morphs still trigger.
• PFA The Age Baby Eye Left Closed Correct
• PFA The Age Baby Eye Right Closed Correct
And a DUPLICATE FORMULA warning appears for...
• PFA The Age - Elderly Head.dsf
• PFA The Age - Mature Head
Plus Clyde 9 and Monaliza 9 also seem to have this little hiccup when using the blink morph. The following morphs trigger...
• Clyde_head_cbs_HeadBlinkR
• PNMonaliza_head_cbs_Eyes_r
Of all the morphs/poses I have, it's weird the blink morph is the one that seems to pop up with the most errors. So as a public service announcement, I thought I'd let everyone know. I have submitted a ticket for the three products.
EDIT: If you have something like this, these are the instructions on how deactivate the offending morphs.
• 1) Click the 4 LINES on the PARAMETERS PANE. A popup menu will appear.
• 2) Click PREFERENCES, then SHOW HIDDEN PROPERTIES.
• 3) Under the CURRENTLY USED option, there will be all the morphs currently active on your Genesis 9 figure. You'll have to wander through the list to see what is what. Just dial it down to 0 to turn off the morph.

Thanks for posting this. I've just started encountering this issue with The Age for Genesis 9 suddenly popping up the same 'Duplicate Formula' error reported here, except it happens whenever loading a Genesis 9 character. The error stops if I remove PFA The Age - Elderly Head.dsf, but I have no idea how to locate a "duplicate formula". I've tried uninstalling Monaliza, too, since she's the only corresponding (to the above report) product that I had installed after this issue began. The error still occurs even with her uninstalled. I don't recall there being a recent update to PFA's The Age prior to getting this error tonight; it was fine the day before yesterday.
I don't think the blink morphs and the duplicate formula error are connected. Just two random things happening at the same time.
I noticed someone else posted that they had a duplicate error problem, but it wasn't related to The Age of Genesis 9.
If you (or anyone reading this) are still getting a duplicate formula error, you can check under MENU>HELP>TROUBLESHOOTING>VIEW LOG FILE and search for WARNING on the txt file that loads.
The update for The Age of Genesis 9 appeared in DIM a few days ago. I installed it and got the duplicate formula error. By the end of the day, I uninstalled The Age. No more duplicate formula errors. I'll just wait for another update for it and try again later.

I had the same problem so I uninstalled The Age in DIM and reinstalled it and no longer got the Blink error or the duplicate formula error.
Thanks for this post. I was going crazy trying to figure out what was causing this error. I just uninstalled The Age because I was getting this error on every Genesis 9 character I loaded. I haven't tried reinstalling The Age yet, but when I uninstalled it, the error stopped coming. I think I'll wait to reinstall it after there's an update on it to fix the problem.
Edit: I just discovered there's no product page for The Age. Has it been deleted?
Hi guys please do let me know if there are any more issues the product is live again
Reinstalled The Age after deleting it earlier this week. Package date shows 6-13-2025. Same duplicate formulas error. Uninstalled The Age again. No more duplicate forumulas error. Still not fixed. This started after the recent update that showed up in DIM.

I'm also getting the duplicate error.
The EYE BLINK expression still triggers the eyelids to not fully close. JCM's PFA THE AGE BABY EYE LEFT CLOSED CORRECT and PFA THE AGE BABY EYE RIGHT CLOSED CORRECT trigger as well.
ok so you are not having the blinking problem right? , but you are still getting the duplicated formulas error right?
This shows that you still have those 2 files. with the updated i have delleted it , so for that problem to dissapear i suggest you to unistall it and install it again. as for the the duplicated error I'm working on it rght now
After I made this thread, I uninstalled the product. Then I noticed the update, so I reinstalled it. Made the post above. Then uninstalled it again. Reinstalled it just now, and I still have the blink error.
Is this happening with anyone else or just me?
Reinstaling the same files won't help, only if there is a new set of product files. If there is supposed to be an update and nothing chnages then, if you are installing manually or through DIM make sure that you don't also have a Daz Connect install (right-click on the product container - if there is an Uninstall option, use it) and however you are installing make sure there isn't an earlier version also installed in a content diectory that DS reads before the oen with the update (you can look for the files, or just use Content Directory manager to promote the one you install to to the top of the list if it isn't there already).
The file's Read Me does not reflect an update reason. I keep getting a copy to install in updates, but I have uninstalled it also because of the duplicate formula error noticed above with a recent character. Not tried to have a character blink, so can't confirm.
I have both the duplicate formulas error and the blink problem. The eyes close incompletely when the character is blinking at 100% with The Age installed. They're fine with it uninstalled.
I am getting both the duplicate formulas and the blinking eye problem with the currently available install (via DIM).
Thanks for looking into the problem and hope you find a solution soon.

I think you misunderstood, Richard. I installed the updated files and got the same error as before. Several people have also explained they are getting the same errors.
Anyway, good luck with the problem solving, PFA!
I went into the data directory and manually deleted the directory for The Age before reinstalling. I also get the duplicate formulas warning after reinstalling. I then deleted The Age's data directory again, and the duplicate formulas error disappeared. From the log file.

Has this been fixed yet? It's a required product for a new release.
No. My uninstalled copy is still dated 13 Jun 2025 which had the error.
@memcneil70 Thanks, Ms. Mary!
Watching this thread for updates. I had temporarily uninstalled the product to avoid the duplicate errors, but will reinstall once that is resolved.
@xyer0 I have an updated 'update' for The Age for Genesis 9 in DIM today, dated 18 July 2025. I haven't installed it yet.
Mary
I can confirm that I'm not getting duplicate errors and/or a problem with the blink morphs activating.
Good job fixing it!
@memcneil70 Thank you, my dear lady!
I'm good as well, apparently. Thanks so much! I use The Aged a lot :-)
