Have not seen any PC+ subscriptions discounted for about 3 months
The madness is overdone, since it just more of the same . buy something I don't want to get something I do want.
Fast grabs, quick sales, flash sales are more interesting.

There is an offer right now, but it ends today.

The PC+ subscription has been discounted a bunch of times just in the last few weeks. (Edit: Woops, no, I'm thinking gift cards. But I'm pretty sure I've seen a few PC+ discounts recently. hmm)
Fast grabs/etc are only interesting if you want it... I'm not sure what difference there is between that and March Madness. Plus, the 'get an extra 10% off if you get this one item' isn't that much of a difference, so you can pretty much ignore it and just focus on whether there's a bunch of stuff you think is worth 40-50% off.
Me, I've seen some things go on sale that I haven't seen go on sale in many months, so... cool.
Since I am not currently subscribed to PC+ i guess there are options for people, which are not apparent to me. When I am not subscribed to PC+ I don't see the PC+ prices as applied to other sale promotions.
That's right. You only see PC+ prices if you are a member. You can figure that thay are 30% off the full price of Daz Original products.
As a non-member, if you put stuff in your cart there is a "Platinum Club +" promotion box to the right hand side that tells you how much you will save on a purchase if you join.
I appreciate the information... buying content from DAz3D is more complicated than necessary.
It strikes me that having the PC+ price permanently on display (in purple, or in a purple box?) next to the full price would be a major attractor to membership. Seems straightforward, but I say that with no knowledge of the complex technicalities behind the scenes of the store.
I think thats a very good point. If they had a kind of "this is what it would cost if you were in PC+" next to the standard price then it'd certainly encourage more memberships. Although then you'd get people complaining that they were seeing misleading prices and bought something accidentally thinking it was cheaper than it was etc.
IIRC we used to have that many versions of the store ago. Not sure how doable this is with Magento though.
That was in the old old store, the one that was hand coded and was a mess of spaghetti held together with duct tape and chewing gum. It had got to the point where it was taking far too long just keeping it all together, was why it had to be replaced.
And I am still not sure it had to replaced with the mess that is Magento ...
Oh well, at least some store glitches are in our favor ...
