Fullscreen viewport on 2nd monitor moves viewport to 1st monitor

I have two monitors. Pallets (e.g. content, parameters, surfaces) are on my Windows Primary Display (set as primary in the Windows control pannels) ,my viewport is on my second display (set as extended in Control Pannels)

If fullscreen the viewport then it moves to the first monitor and fullscreens on that side.

Is there a way to fullscreen and keep it on the extended monitor  without having to make that extended monitor my Windows primary display?

When I turn the extended display into primary display it works as expected, but I don't want to keep doing that.

thanks.

    Have a look at this thread, and particularly the comment by Omniflux

    You might be able to tweak your XML template to default to what you would like

    KPR, thanks but I didn't find what I was looking for.

    when I select full screen in the extended display the full screen jumps to the primary monitor and covers my palettes, I'm trying to full screen from the extended and have it stay in the extended.

    // DAZ Studio version 4.7.0.12 filetype DAZ Scriptvar oPaneMgr = MainWindow.getPaneMgr();var oPane = oPaneMgr.findPane( "DzViewportMgrPane" );if( oPane ){ var oPaneGroup = oPane.getPaneGroup(); if( oPaneGroup ){  oPaneGroup.hideTabBar( true ); }}

    so I found this script and it seems to do what I need it to EXCEPT I get a window with an X in the upper right hand corner. My script skills are non existant but can anyone see if there is something I can add to get rid of that X bar at the top of the screen when it's fullscreen?
    thanks!

    var oPaneMgr = MainWindow.getPaneMgr();

    var oPane = oPaneMgr.findPane( "DzViewportMgrPane" );

    if( oPane ){

    var oPaneGroup = oPane.getPaneGroup();

    if( oPaneGroup ){

    oPaneGroup.hideTabBar( true );

    }

    }

    if memory serves you provided it to me before Studio had a dedicated full screen option which I believe was an early version of 4.x

    Hmm, I wonder if that was literally one of mine or one I passed on from a hint - I have no recollection ( though to be fair,  4.7.0.12 was a lonmg time ago).

    If I run this with a floating Viewport it hdies the tab well, but the top bar with its X for closing the pane group does not change.

    oddly it stopped working. some of my scripts no longer work when I move them into favorites, but even selecting the icon from the content list is now pushing it to the main monitor.

    Hi Wendy,

    no, but it seems to move the title bar to the other window
