Scene Optimizer Tripled Render Time?
I have a large scene with 10 G2 people and 1 G8, all in movement. At 50 max iterations, I was able to render 2 frames per minute at 1920 x 1080. Hooray for the Titan RTX!!! After applying the Scene Optmizer to all characters in the scene save one, the render time jumped from 30 seconds per frame to over 90. Has anyone else experienced this? It seemed that utilizing the Optimizer to set all mesh to the lowest number and then reducing all maps by a factor of 8 would exponentially increase the speed. What is going on here?

After applying scene optimizer, did you then save the scene, restart Daz Studio and reload the scene?
Sure did! I always restart DAZ3D before a render, if not my entire rig. Makes for a clean render process.
