Inquiry about "Z Cigarette Break Props and Poses for Genesis 8"

https://www.daz3d.com/z-cigarette-break-props-and-poses-for-genesis-8

After loading the cigarette as a smart prop, I expect it to move automatically to the character’s mouth when applying a pose.

However, somewhat ironically for a "smart prop," the cigarette ends up positioned near the forehead if the character I’m using is shorter than the default Genesis 8 model.

As a result, I have to manually reposition the cigarette every time I apply a pose,

which defeats the purpose of having a smart prop and significantly reduces the convenience of using this product.

Is there a recommended way to correct this issue?

Could the functionality be adjusted to account for character height, or is manual repositioning the only solution?

What is the cigaret parented to?

    Which character are you using?

Moved to Technical Help - Product Suggestions is for would like to see/in search of topics, not help with existing products.

Please use an untextured figure, or an untextured drawstyle, if the scene contains nude figures.

Smart Props automatically parent to the specific node, if present, but they don't automatically adjust for things like morphs. One way to achieve that would be with a Rigid Follow Node, with the prop parented to that, but that is not an approach that is often used. Applying the pose before the character would avoid the issue, and you are likely to need to adjust the posing for a non-standard shape or size anyway.
