How do you backup your Libraries?

As many around here my Content Library is kind of huge.

I usually simply copy it manually to s second hard drive but am looking for a solid and not too expensive (maybe even free?) solution for automatic backups. Any recommendations? I am using WIN11.

I've got two identical 3Tb drives and a Raid 1 (mirror) set up on the machine, so each should backup the other and if there's a failure of one drive, the second should be a backup. I have had a failure on the machine and I hope it works when I get back to using it. The failure was a MB failure on the machine in the HDD controller section which killed the 512Gb SSD boot disc. I do hope the Raid Discs are safe.

    Regards,

For every store item that I install with DIM onto a 5 Tb external hard drive, I manually install onto another 5 Tb backup drive.  I manually install content from third-part sites onto both drives.  The 5 Tb backup drive saved me last year when I accidentally dropped the main content drive.  I changed the drive letter on the backup drive to the same as the drive letter used by the former main drive so that I did not have to make any changes to my Content Management System setup.  With the exception of a few items that I had forgotten to manually install on the backup drive, I was good to go.  I bought another 5 Tb drive to serve as the backup content drive.

I store downloaded zip files on a 1.5 Tb external hard drive but that drive now only has 35 Gb free.  I bought an external 20 Tb drive as few weeks ago to store my downloaded zip files and more there.
