Zone Smoother for Genesis 3 Female(s) - Will work in DS4.8 pro?

Will the Zone Smoother for Genesis 3 Female(s) also work in DS4.8 64bit pro or just in DS4.9?

By the way, it is the first time that someone sees the same issues on G3F like I do it seems.

Well, to tell the truth: some of the folds the smoother smoothes are realistic (like the fold under the ribs wenn bending the upper body forward) - can I get a smoother for real life? LOL

Edited to add: I don't think the app is useless - some of those are really better smoothed! - I just think there may be some overdoing in wanting female bodies to be smoooooooooth. (And yes, I AM thin in real life - genetically so)

Hello Kerya!  I definitely agree, too much smoothing is unrealstic.  The hope for Zone Smoother isn't really to oversmooth the figure, but to smooth out spots where morphs and poses don't apply well.  For example, have you ever had Victoria 7 turn her neck to look over her shoulder and noticed an unrealstric crease appear?  Zone Smoother is meant to help out in a situation like that smiley

The thing is, my character is a bit more chubby and so it shouldn`t have such hard creases you somethimes get with some poses, you know?

Chubby characters need a smoothing on some poses especially the hip/thigh area and the backside of the knees and the armpit area

I'm assuming that the bug fix will be in the product if we wait a few days to download it?

Have not tested it until now, not enough time, two questions:

    1. Once created, will a morph stay forever? Means, if I use zone smoother for a pose and then I zero the figure and save it as a scene for example (what I do) and reopen it, will the morph be there?

    2. Is it possible to delete a once created morph (can be that I do something wrong and want to delete the morph) ?

    Hello Cosmo!

    1. Yes, your smoothed morphs will be saved with your scene and will be ther when you reload.

    2. Also yes :-).  When you create a smoothed morph, there is an undo button which will delete the new morph if you aren't happy with it.  You can alos overwrite a smoothed morph just by naming the new morph the same thing (you'll be prompted to aask if you want to replace the old morph).

When I try to load the log file says

    Failed to load script: E:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/My Library/Scripts/SimTenero/Zone Smoother for Genesis 3 Female/Zone Smoother Genesis 3 Female.dse

    Using Daz 4.8 64 bit.

Now the thread above claimed it had been updated and fixed so I redownloaded the file only to get the same characteristics of script dse not loading.

Then I saw that the old and new zip files downloaded were exactly the same size. So are you sure that the update is really available from Daz as reported above?
