got asked for warez in a PM, it is too complicated to file a ticket though I did as no other option
we need a one click report option for PMs of a suspicious nature
or report user option

I recently was asked for some files that were "no longer on the market" - no idea how this person knew/thought I had these files (a little disturbing, that!). I didn't respond to them, but did PM a DAZ Mod for advice - asking the question "Is this person contacting everyone in PM asking for files, or just me?" Still waiting to hear back. It is silly, but imagine a scenario where you respond to this poor begger, give them some files, and suddenly your whole 3D library (bank account in other scams) is drained! Just GONE! HA HA!
probably my 5th attempt to reply
it's very likely the same user, 0 posts
wants DR stuff from Renderosity
Dinoraul presumably, I don't even have any as don't do prehistoric scenes and if I did my dinosaurs need lots of colourful feathers like big fancy chickens
only saying as just so random
I have sent you a PM. This person may be asking a lot of people I too recently received a request for some Dinoraul models.
Have received the request as well .....
not the first time some 0 post user has done this but haven't been any for a while
we do need a way to easily report private messages though for multiple reasons
I haven't had a PM here, but someone asked me recently on DeviantArt's PM if I would give them Dinoraul models (I didn't even have the ones he asked for). I sent back a message telling him that what he was wanting was illegal and immoral, and he responded with "sorry". I didn't report him, I thought it was possible he didn't know better, his account is a year old and I don't think english is his first language. But now I'm wondering if I should have...
if people don't know better they usually ask on the forum
this was a random who I have never communicated with before so I suspect just sends the message everywhere hoping to get a response
I did explain it was illegal
it's the unsolicited message that's the issue for me
we can report posts
we should be able to report site messages too
what friends chat about in PMs is none of my business
and they can take it off site
I am not playing content police here
Haven't gotten it yet, but that might just be 'yet.'
I'm on the side of those giving less benefit of the doubt. I can get wanting for something no longer available (especially if one had a file and lost it through a HD crash or whatever), but at that point you get on the boards and ask if anyone knows how to contact the artist to ask.
I got it too.
