What Are The White Flecks In "My Creek" Environment?

I'm considering getting the My Creek environment: https://www.daz3d.com/my-creek. My question is most of the promotional images have very prominent white specks in them; are these inevitable? Are they part of the scene? I really don't care for them at all; if they can't be eliminated, I would rather not buy this item.

    I don't have the environment, but if you look under features it lists water drops as a separate prop, so assuming that's what they are you would be able to turn them off.
