Possible to use Genesis 8 Make up on Genesis 9?

Hi everyone smiley

Like the title says, is it possible to use Genesis 8 make up on Genesis 9 characters? Cause I have both materials AND layer make up I would like to use on my Genesis 9 chatacters. I couldn't find much info about it online.

    G8 textures won't work on G9 "as is".

    Using Legacy UVs or Material suit you can get G8F textures on G9. However neither of these products would allow you to use a G8F makeup over a G9 skin, you'd need to use a G8F base skin too.

    Omg really? This is actually perfect! laugh So if I use a skin texture from a Genesis 8 on a Genesis 9 character the make up will work? Is it the same for nail polish materials as well?

    You can't use a G8F skin on G9 without one of the products I linked to.

    Oh yes, I understood that. I was just asking if the nail polish materials for Genesis 8 were also possible to use on Genesis 9 like the make up when using those products laugh Thank you very much by the way, I really appreciate the help!

    Yes, nail polish should work too.

    No, that's for converting morphs.

    It is mainly a morph transfer tool, though it can use a Genesis 8 skin  turned into a fitted item for Genesis 9 to apply materials - the material Suit mentioned above, which would still be required.
