Is there a way to move a prop and have both hands follow (like a spear)?

Does anyone know if there is a method or a product that can allow parenting both hands to an object, like a spear, a golf club, etc, and when the object is moved, both arms move with it? I thought Limbstick might do this, but I wanted it to work while posing, not when rendering animation. Thanks for any information.

That is what IK does, though strictly you would be parenting IK targets which the hand bones were then set to follow.

Right, but can you get both hands to follow? I can do it with one easily.

Can I parent a null to the object, then the other hand to the null, and when the object moves, it pulls the parented hand and the null, which then pulls the other hand?

Wouldn't it be great if DS2025 had full animation/lip sync capacity included?

I feel like this one was asked about a two-handed sword a while back (blasted if I can find the thread though) and IIRC the best solution offered was using https://www.daz3d.com/face-to-face-autopose-arms-for-genesis-9 to move the second hand after the fact.

Thanks for the advice, it seems like SilverGirl's link is probably the best option we have for this sort of thing? Ah, VGDigitimes, for when you absolutely need to use the most complicated-looking method to do something relatively simple.   ;)   I wishlisted it, thank you.

that's DAZ studio for you devil

yeah, it's actually easier for me to do such things in iClone or Carrara and export a BVH file

    probably Unreal or Blender too

I wonder of Cassaduer could do it
