Messing up with makeups

- In the normal DAZ Studio mode, I selected a make up (eyeshadow) for my character. I can see it (even if the face color is a bit different from the body color) but when I render the scene, the face is completely white. Why? Did I apply a wrong texture to an incompatible model? Is there a way to see the character model name in the scene tab after I renamed it? - Similar problem with nails. I can change the lenght and the color (i selected a dark red color), but the color is lost when I render the scene. I tried another color in another scene (the pink nails in the attachments) but it worked and I don't know why - What is the best way to create new makeup colors? For example, how do I get the same result of the third attachment? Do people use some particular program/brush to create them?

Does the makeup map coem from the same character as the base skin? Older set in particular tend to have a complete new copy of the face map with the makeup applied (newer sets are more likely to use a Geometry Shell or a layered Iamge to apply the makeup on top of the skin, which should be more general as long as they haven't blended the skin map in around the edges).
