Is GoZ Broken Now?

I've been using the GoZ bridge between Studio 4.8 and ZBrush to make figure morphs for ages with no issues. All of a sudden, when I try to export my morphs back into Studio (and yes, all at base resolution with nothing added to the figure) with Studio still open, I hit the GoZ button and that opens another instance of Studio and that tries to import the GoZ target as an object. GoZ now completely ignores the open instance of Studio (and so I can't send my sculpted morphs back). Anyone else having any issues with the GoZ bridge in Studio 4.8?

I have nver worked out why this happens but yep....it just breaks sometimes.
You could try under Preferences in ZBrush / GoZ - Update Paths.
Alternatively and dont ask me why this works but it has been a solution for me in the past, update the DAZ Path to the exe file located:
C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\DAZStudio64
I've had the same issue lately, but found a very simple workaround. Not sure if it's specific to my system so YMMV.
When you're ready to send back to DAZ, go ahead and let it open a new instance but do not close the new instance. Go back to ZBrush and resend it back to DAZ, it should open up in the correct instance this time. Sometimes the import from GoZ is corrupted (you'll notice that several fields are blank in the dialog box). Accept the first import, and then immediately go back to ZBrush and resend it to DAZ. GoZ should import properly this time. Leave the 2nd instance of DAZ open for the duration of your session to prevent the original issue from happening again.
