UDIM overly question.
Is there a way to tell DAZ Studio to export the overlaid mapping from the Head map to it's own tile? Meaning when I export the OBJ of Genesis 8 with his gens on when I open it up in my UV editor I see that the gens are placed on the Head UDIM tile. Probably is fine but just seems odd to me. LOL

it depends on the use case. It might be fine to have overlapping UVs but if you are texture painting it is typically not okay to have overlapping UVs.
You should apply a custom UV layout within Daz Studio or edit the UV Layout in a software like blender.
You can apply custom UV layouts under Surfaces tab.
You can load a custom UV layout by going to Parameters, in the hamburger menu there is a Load UV set option. It will accept an OBJ with your customised UV layout. So you need to find or make a UV layout that moves the head to a different UDIM.You can reassign UV islands to different UDIM tiles easily in Blender.
