DAZ keeps crashing and asking to update NVIDIA driver

Seemingly at random, when starting a render with Iray, DAZ will crash. The logs show the error below. My NVIDIA driver is 576.02, so the error makes no sense...is this version of DAZ unstable? What can I do to keep these crashes from happening, or to diagnose the issue?

Daz Studio 4.24.0.3 does NOT support the NVIDIA 5000 series graphics cards. You need to install Daz Studio 2025.Alpha with DIM to get support for those cards. The Alpha is very limited at this point. Don't count on any of your purchased plugins or scripts to work in it.  The Daz Studio 4.X releases will NEVER support the NVIDIA 5000 series, we have been told.

Daz Studio didn't crash according to the log entries in your screen shot. If it does crash then that is something other than the compatibility with 50x0 cards (they simply won't work).

  • Thank you!
The new Alpha did finally work with my 5000 series card.
I especially upgraded for Daz (and okay, Blender and DaVinci Resolve).
