Rigging tutorial in store still up to date?

To get more knowledge about rigging I have found http://www.daz3d.com/rigging-original-figures-in-ds4-pro tutorials in the store like this one. I know rigging has changed for the new generations figures and also that the work flow has changed for rigging in DAZ 4.9 Thing is, these tutorials say 4.9 is needed but does that mean that these tutorials were updated? Or are they still based on Genesis 1 and DAZ 4.5?
