Daz Shop Purchase = Grey figured blocks

I've downloaded a charachter from the official shop here on the website. Installed it using the IM, and all I can see is a grey block figure. #noob alert. 

What am I doing wrong?

I've read other threads on this, but they seem to concern third-party downloads.

    Did you install Genesis 8 Starter Essentials, one of the free packages you get with the base applicaiton?

    The grey blocks are the resulf of missing geometry files, DSF, OBJ, etc., or of a bad path in the requesting file.

    In this case, the Genesis 8 Male isn't installed, or is in a non CDM(content directory manager) mapped directory.

    I'd check DIM to make sure the IM00042071-02_Genesis8MaleStartedEssentials.zip is installed.
