Problems with "filter by context" after update

After the last DS update, the "filter by context" stopped working. It's as if my G8 figures weren't G8 figures.
In the "Smart Content" panel, to use poses, utilities, etc., I need to disable the "filter by context" and manually search for the desired item.
This has made my work very difficult, since I have figures from different generations and there are many incompatible items between them.
Has anyone experienced this?
Can anyone help me?

Sounds as if something has hijacked the id - try reinstalling Genesis 8 Starter Essentials.
Thanks for your willingness to help, my friend, but I just tried this and it didn't work. What else could it be?
I thought about reinstalling the figures to try to solve this problem and realized that the figures that the "context filter" is not working with also do not have an uninstall option in the context menu.
It seems to me that these problems are related.
With the figures that allow reinstallation, the "context filter" still works.
Someone please help me, it's horrible to work like this. I'm going crazy! lol
How do you install?
All through Daz Install Manager, directly from Daz.com
I was having the same issue, uninstalling then reinstalling G8 starter essentials via DIM fixed it.
Thanks Richard.
It didn't work for me. I'll try again, but I don't know, maybe restarting the computer between uninstalling and reinstalling and praying.
It's good to know it worked for someone, as it may be the way I did it and not the concept itself. Thanks! And thanks again Richard!
Solved!! :)
WRONG WAY: Uninstall and reinstall "Genesis 8 Starter Edition" within Daz itself, clicking "uninstall" in the context menu.
RIGHT WAY: Find "Genesis 8 Female" and "Genesis 8 Male" in the "installed" tab within DIM, click uninstall, so that it goes to the "ready to install" tab, and then reinstall from there.
I also prayed a little, but I don't think that was the main factor.
If you had an Uninstall otpion then DIM was irrelevant, uninstalling through DS was needed to remove those files (which get used in prefrence to the DIM files) and then reinstalling put them backa gain, with correct metadata, at which point the DIM files were again irrelevant.
